Adolescent HIV
Indiana University School of Medicine faculty members are engaged in care, training and research related to adolescents living with HIV.
Current projects include:
- K23 Clinical Assessment for Retention and Engagement
(CARE): examines factors underlying adolescent
disengagement from HIV care and will develop and pilot a
clinical tool to assess risk for disengagement in clinical setting. - Making Inroads to Strengthen the Health of Adolescents
(MaISHA): examines barriers and facilitators to adolescent
retention in HIV care, causes of hospitalization and mortality,
and areas of intervention to improve retention in care. - IeDEA EA Adolescent Cohort Evaluation (ACE): Factors
associated with adolescent retention.
