The IU Center for Global Health Equity annual Scholars Day brings together faculty, staff & trainees engaged in global health work from across the research, service and education missions.
Global Health Scholars Day, on Friday, May 2, will showcase the excellent work being done by the IU community to improve the care of patients worldwide, research the complexities of global health, and educate learners about the care of local and global populations.
Indianapolis author and global health philanthropist John Green will discuss his new book "Everything is Tuberculosis" during a fireside chat at the Madam Walker Legacy Center. The event will also include networking opportunities for IU faculty, staff and students interested in global health and a poster session featuring work in global health care, training and research programs. The deadline to submit a poster abstract has been extended to April 4. Ticket information will be available soon.
The IU Center for Global Health Equity periodically circulates news and events related to IU’s global health equity activities.
