Our mission is to support research to eliminate health disparities and improve the health of people in resource-limited settings both in Indiana and around the world. Our Center is a commons supporting collaborative research teams joined across IU’s schools and campuses to solve the world’s most difficult health challenges and train the world’s future leaders in global health research.

AMPATH is the IU Center for Global Health Equity’s signature partnership in Kenya. The AMPATH Research Network includes researchers from nearly 20 institutions in North America, Europe and Africa working to improve the health of people in Kenya and other resource limited settings around the world.
Interdisciplinary teams from IU School of Medicine and colleagues around the world are exploring complex health problems in an effort to address them and improve health.
The IU Center for Bioethics and IU Center for Global Health Equity sponsor a monthly Global Health Research Speaker Series. The event is the second Tuesday of the month from Noon-1 p.m. at the Regentrief Institute.
Trainees, faculty and investigators can access lectures discussing the challenges, opportunities and methods of clinical research. Covering a range of core topics, these lectures are meant to give the listener a basic introduction and overview of some key concepts and principles in clinical research.
