- Support and develop AMPATH Medical Records System
(OpenMRS)
– Point‐of‐care system deployed across 40 facilities
– 500 users, 1500 encounters / day
– Used across HIV, Oncology, CDM
– Primary source of clinical data for Research - Co‐lead effort to rebuild OpenMRS frontend (web application)
and backend (FHIR) - Leveraging lessons learned from AMRS to create next
generation system - Creating cross‐organizational effort to support single software
(better product, better sustainability)
