Laparoscopic Surgery in American Samoa
Surgeons from the IU School of Medicine department of obstetrics and gynecology spend a week each year at Lyndon B. Johnson Tropical Medical Center in Pago Pago, American Samoa, doing diagnostic laparoscopy, LS cholecystectomy and occasionally LS tubal ligations. This program provides high quality medical care to patients who otherwise would not get it.
