Pediatric Cancer Asia
The Asian Resilience Enhancement for Adolescents and Young Adults (AYA) with Cancer (AREA-CA) Cooperative Group currently has teams working in Taiwan, China, Japan, and Korea to spread the Resilience in Illness Model (RIM). RIM is designed to increase understanding of how positive health protective factors (i.e., social integration, family environment, courageous coping, and derived meaning) may influence resilience outcome in AYA. This project involves pre- and postdoctoral students, and IU School of Nursing alums.
