The IU Center for Global Health Equity and the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI) have officially released the reciprocal innovation planning and demonstration grants for 2025.
Projects can focus on a specific disease condition(s) or health or social system challenge that affects health outcomes and/or access to and quality of health care.
Reciprocal Innovation Demonstration Grants
Letter of Intent deadline: February 24, 2025
Application submission deadline: April 14, 2025
Awards are up to $50,000 for a period of two years. This award is designed to support research and demonstrate innovations with a high potential to address a significant health challenge in both Indiana and at a low- or middle-income (LMIC) partner institution. Projects should result in high impact solutions that provide reciprocal benefit to the communities Indiana CTSI institutions serve either at home or abroad, as well as a plan to sustain and expand these efforts after the end of support from this RFA.
Applicants must first submit a letter of intent before receiving approval to submit a full application.
Principal Investigators from Indiana CTSI institutions must submit a multiple PI (MPI) application for this RFA, ensuring a minimum of 2 MPIs. At least one PI must be from an Indiana CTSI institution, and another PI should represent a LMIC institution/organization.
